I've heard that somewhere before. And, yes, our first day of skiing was cut short by weather, but it was still fun to be out in the fresh air. The day was gray, and the snow was sticky, but we got nearly a full day before the wind kicked up so hard that all but 2 lifts were closed.
It's about 50 degrees in Bozeman and there is a front coming through. Big Sky is supposed to get three to five inches of snow... whoo hoo. We may have to drive up the mountain tomorrow.
There's a few things I need to get past in order to have more fun tomorrow. One, would be my fear of heights... that's right. I'm terrified of heights and nothing is scarier than a two-seater chair lift in the wind.
There were times when you had to stop and cover your face because it was getting sand blasted with ice crystals. I'm uploading videos to U-Tube. They are unedited and no sound but hey, we are on vacation... and it's nearly time to eat supper. Kinda fun, we are going out for sushi for my birthday... nice. :)
