Wild Kingdom

This morning, at a whopping 2 degrees, the animals decided to gather beneath my bird feeder. There were small birds, pheasants and the two bunnies that have been hiding beneath our shed all winter long. The snow has been scratched to the point of no return. I do not know how they are finding anything out there to eat. I feel sorry for them and all the people in the world that do not have enough food today.
I watched several elderly people in the store on Saturday ponder their purchases so carefully, it was painful to watch. Their carts had maybe six items and and they were nearly around the entire store.
Today's devotional asks that we should share with someone today, a meal, money for a meal, groceries with someone who doesn't have the means to fulfil the simple act of eating. One we take for granted.
On a cheery note, yes Joanie, the Low Country Boil could be healthy, if it wasn't for the butter we dipped our shrimp and potatoes in..... Eat Well... and share.
