Well how about that? It's Halloween. Used to be you would get up on Oct. 31 and say, "It's Halloween, I think I'll carve a pumpkin and make a costume and away we go...."
Now, it's weeks in advance of the day and not so much fun any more... however.
One of my favorite Halloween events was the time we couldn't figure out what to do for Adam. That's the year we cut the bottom of the cat food bag off and made him a tunic -- he was a bag of cat food for Halloween.
He said he got a lot of funny looks, but oh well, it worked. I'm thinking I have to go to town and buy some Halloween candy because I can't make those good cookies with the Snickers bar inside without my kids' stash of candy -- we always went through it like good parents... Tee Hee... I miss trick or treaters. We don't get many out here. Well, none, so hopefully you will all be safe tonight and don't miss church tomorrow cause it's daylight saving time ends day today... whoo who. Been doing homework all morning, and I'm so burnt out...
