Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July.

The prairie rose are blooming and so I thought I'd share one with you. They are not red, white or blue, but they are gorgeous. It is cool today. And that's wonderful.

We are eating lettuce and spinach out of the garden. Something else has been eating my tiny zucchini and for some reason, that makes me mad. So, I have to get a fence around my home garden sooner or later. The tomatoes are not doing so well out here, too much wind when I first began.

However, the garden in town is lovely, lovely, lovely. I hope it makes it through all the Mandan Fourth of July Festivities.

I'm done with my first two classes at DSU, whew. Now I don't know what I'm going to do with all my time. Oh wait, there's you guys...
This photo is untouched except for a lower resolution for a web page. It is taken with my newest camera body... a step up from the Rebel... 30D I believe. We bought it from a friend so I could shoot a wedding next year... I am so looking forward to it.
See you soon. Sue
PS... Two A's and my teacher said I wrote the best proposal she had ever seen....
