Hello from North Dakota

By way of introduction, I have been in the kitchen or reading about the kitchen, cooking, baking and canning for most of my life. One day my daughter said to me... "why is it all we think about is food?"
Well, that's because all we think about is food.
My husband teases me about my well-stocked pantry. He tells me I need to quit cooking for an army. He also made a new rule in the house that I couldn't bake a batch of cookies before the last batch was completely gone.
I have a freezer full of goodies, a cupboard full of flour and am currently preparing to plant some heirloom tomato seeds for my new garden. You know the one my husband doesn't have dug yet... we've only been married a little over a year...
