Walking in my winter wonderland

Happy Saturday. It's so beautiful outdoors at the moment, I can hardly stand it. In fact. I'm doing this as quickly as possible so I may enjoy the break of day... without the sun of course.
It's gray, but the photo above was taken during the heaviest snow yesterday afternoon. The birds are hiding in our windrow of spruce trees, lush and thick with snow. If I remember I must honor my friend Klang today and take a photo of Scarlet in the Snow.
Speaking of art... sculptures, Woman Song, Klang, Deb, Karen and all the gang... my new loom is here and I'm thinking of launching a new blog site. I do not know if I can maintain two because I would really like to share in photos and lessons, my journey back into my artwork.
That and I had a wondererful idea for a book.
And, I'm making some vegetable soup today with garden vegetables, frozen, canned and dried. Plus the stock from a farm fresh Dagley chicken.
There's so much to do and so little time outside of work. I'm praying for freedom from stress. And along that line have chosen two photos for the ACC art show in March. They were gifts from God as a reminder that the is with us always even in these uncertain time.
So how about we do a little soup today, some kamut bread and my favorite Aunt Tom's Italian Creme Cake.
I'll keep you posted.
