The calm before the storm

13Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

15When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about." Luke 2:13-15

It's still calm outside. There's fresh snow everywhere, but it's beginning to quiet down everywhere. If we could see the sky, we would see the brilliant stars above us. They are there. We can't see them, but each and every one of us has great faith they will be there now and every evening when the sun goes down. Faith the assurance of things not seen.

Let's go to Bethlehem today and see this thing that has happened...
